GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A few hours after a shelter in place was ordered near 12th Avenue in Green Bay early Easter Sunday, it has been lifted and an 18-year-old was arrested following a fight.
Officers with the Green Bay Police Department were called to a reported disturbance in the 1100 block of 12th Avenue around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 20, leading to a temporary shelter-in-place order.
Witnesses reported seeing a fight between the suspect and another person who sustained injuries, but were non-life-threatening, officers say.

However, when officers got to the scene, they were told of possible weapons inside the home with other people inside. After everyone in the home was able to safely get out, only the suspect was left inside.
The GBPD SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Team were used during the incident, which ended shortly after 6 a.m. when the 18-year-old man was taken into custody without further incident..
