Dozens of Wisconsin manufacturing employees laid off

STURTEVANT, Wis. (WFRV) – A Wisconsin manufacturing company is laying off more than 60 employees, including new and low-hour workers.

According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) letter submitted to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, BRP US Inc. is conducting layoffs at its facility in Sturtevant.

The WARN letter indicates that a total of 61 employees will be affected. Of those, 39 have already been laid off, while the remaining 22 will be let go gradually over the coming weeks, based on the company’s operational needs.

BRP US says all affected employees have been notified. None are represented by a union, and bumping rights do not apply.
