WAUTOMA, Wis. (WFRV) – A woman was sent to the hospital after reportedly getting hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Wautoma Police Department, on June 6, around 10:55 a.m., officers were sent to a reported car versus pedestrian crash in the parking lot of the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office. When officers got to the scene, a 58-year-old woman was found to have been hit by a vehicle while riding an electric bicycle.
The woman was sent to a hospital for ‘multiple’ head injuries that were a result of the crash, authorities said.

The driver of the vehicle was reportedly cooperative and stayed at the scene. Authorities said the driver was given a citation for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
