WEST BEND, Wis. (WFRV) – A Wisconsin man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly firing a handgun at a group of people during a Sunday night altercation in Washington County, leaving a bullet hole in a nearby vehicle.
According to the West Bend Police Department, an officer was approached Monday morning around 10:30 a.m. by a man asking about a shooting in the 200 block of N. Main Street in West Bend. At that time, no such incident had been reported.

Later that day, around 2:30 p.m., a woman came to the police department to report finding a bullet hole in her vehicle, which had been parked in the same area Sunday night.
An investigation determined that on April 27, 2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a verbal and physical altercation broke out between two groups of individuals. During the incident, a 20-year-old Milwaukee man allegedly brandished a handgun and fired it toward others involved.
No injuries were reported.

On April 29, West Bend police executed a search warrant at the suspect’s Milwaukee residence and took him into custody. He is being held in the Washington County Jail on a charge of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
