UPDATE: Police presence on Green Bay’s Doty Street ends with one arrest after physical disturbance

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30, 2025 – 10:45 a.m.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The large police presence on Green Bay’s Doty Street from earlier Wednesday morning has ended after one person was reportedly taken into custody.

Officers say that a 39-year-old man from Green Bay was arrested after an alleged physical disturbance with another person at a residence on the City’s east side.

Appleton Police Department asks for public’s help in combating reckless motocycle riding

The incident began around 7:45 a.m. when officers were called to the 1300 block of Doty Street when officers tried to make contact with a suspect who then reportedly fled on foot and “possibly had a handgun.”

The incident ended around 10:30 a.m. when the suspect was taken into custody. The 39-year-old reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.

The shelter-in-place has been lifted.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – There is currently a large police presence on Green Bay’s Doty Street as officers say they are responding to a disturbance.

According to a release from the Green Bay Police Department, officers were called to the 1300 block of Doty Street around 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, for a reported disturbance.

Officers are asking those in the area to shelter in place and anyone else to avoid the area.

Fond du Lac police seek help identifying man accused of stealing chainsaws

The shelter-in-place is ordered for the area between South Irwin Avenue and South Baird Street on Doty Street.
