Officers in popular Wisconsin vacation city increasing loud noise ordinance enforcement

LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (WFRV) – Quoting Taylor Swift, a police department in a popular Wisconsin vacation city is reminding residents and visitors that it will be increasing its loud noise ordinance enforcement.

“You need to calm down, you’re being too loud,” the Lake Geneva Police Department began a Facebook post on Wednesday. Officers warned that if your music is “shaking windows, scaring squirrels, and setting off car alarms,” then it might be too loud.
