(WFRV) – A fire chief in the Fox Valley has earned himself what is said to be a new and prestigious designation.
According to a release from the Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue, Fire Chief Travis Teesch has earned a Chief Fire Officer (CFO) designation from the Commission on Professional Credentialling.

Officials say that Chief Teesch now joins an elite group of only 32 service leaders in Wisconsin to have earned this international designation that recognizes excellence in leadership, education, community involvement, and technical competence.
Chief Teesch is said to be receiving the award because of his “dedication to advancing the fire service and his commitment to serving Neenah and Menasha with the highest level of professionalism.”
