Moderate rain showers enter tomorrow

The latest Northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

What an awesome start to May it has been! High pressure to our south kept us dry all day long, while an area of low pressure to our northeast pushed in just a few clouds throughout the day.

Our next rainy system begins to build in to our southwest tonight. For us tonight, however, we remain dry and quiet with partly cloudy skies and maybe an isolated sprinkle to the south.

We remain quiet until just after daybreak tomorrow, and then moderate rain showers enter in from the southwest. Expect rain chances with rumbles of thunder for most of tomorrow. During the evening hours, we will have a small dry period before heavier rain and even t-storms move in late Thursday and into early Friday. We dry out by sunrise Friday morning with sunshine into the afternoon.

After a windy day (again) today, winds do become to calm overnight, but turn back out of the north/northwest. This will actually pull in much cooler air for tomorrow. High temps tomorrow will be in the low 50s here in GB.

The warmth returns by Friday!
