GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Green Bay area schools are celebrating after receiving grants from the Green Bay Packers Foundation.
According to a Facebook post from Green Bay Schools, 2024 grants, announced during the Foundation’s annual luncheon on November 21, focused on supporting arts, culture, athletics, and education.
The event, held at Lambeau Field, featured a special performance by Preble High School’s choir, adding a musical touch to the occasion.

The post says that grants were awarded to various schools within the Green Bay Area Public School District, each funding unique initiatives aimed at enriching student experiences.
Chappell Elementary School will use its grant to support a school musical, fostering creativity and teamwork among young performers.
In celebration of cultural heritage, Green Bay School says the district’s Hmong New Year Celebration will receive funding, continuing the tradition of honoring Hmong culture and community contributions.
King Elementary School plans to enhance its library program with updates, including new books, STEM activities, robotics, coding tools, and Makerspace resources, all designed to inspire innovative learning.
Lombardi Middle School’s fitness program, “DEKA: Train With a Purpose,” also earned a grant, helping students develop physical and mental resilience through structured training.
