Gorgeous day Wednesday, then rain on Thursday

The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

The forecast remains high and dry today, and you can plan on lots of sunshine and lighter winds than yesterday. Rain will be back in the forecast Thursday, then a nice warm up for the upcoming weekend.

Sunshine Wednesday with a few, thin afternoon clouds. Temperatures rise into the upper 60s to near 70 degrees, with lower 60s by the lake. NE winds go down a bit to 5 to 15 miles per hour.

Clear and calm this evening, then some more clouds will arrive overnight ahead of tomorrow’s rain. No frost concerns in our area as lows will fall to around 46 degrees, and near 42 degrees over the north.

Thursday will bring a chance for rain or some embedded thunder during the mid-morning into the afternoon. By the evening, rain chances will be few and far between. High temperatures are all over the place in our area – 70 in Green Bay, 73 in the Fox Cities, 59 by the lake, and 63 degrees in the northwoods.

Looking nice again Friday as temperatures warm up into the weekend! There is a chance for morning fog, then mostly sunny and 78 degrees.

Nice and warm during the day Saturday. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s! A weakening front will work into the state late in the day and could bring a few thunderstorms to the area in the evening.

Looking dry again by Sunday with mainly sunny skies and highs near 80 degrees.
