Duck Creek Quarry Beach in Howard to open for the season

HOWARD, Wis. (WFRV) – With the unofficial start to summer (Memorial Day weekend) rapidly approaching, officials say the Duck Creek Quarry Beach in Howard will soon open for the season.

According to a release from the Village of Howard, the swim beach will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. starting the Friday before Memorial Day through Labor Day Monday.

Those who visit the Duck Creek Quarry Beach are reminded that swimming or floating is only available from the beach, and wristbands are required.

The rest of the park is said to be open to the public from sunrise to sunset for those looking to participate in catch-and-release fishing, non-motorized boating, paddle boarding, dog swimming, and walking the trails.
