DOOR COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Menominee Police Department provided an update on the body recovered near Little Strawberry Island on Wednesday, identifying as a 42-year-old woman who was previously reported missing in January.
According to the release, Lisa Janine Pipp of Greendale was reported missing on January 13, 2025 after reportedly walking away from a vehicle on the ice of Green Bay during an argument.

Search efforts were performed over the following several weeks. On Wednesday, June 4, shortly after 5 p.m., the Door County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to a body found in the water near Little Strawberry Island.
First responders arrived at the scene, and recovered the body, who has since been identified as Lisa Pipp.

Officials say that while the investigation is ongoing, early autopsy results show no signs of foul play.
