Authorities remind drivers to buckle up after semi-truck crash in neighboring state

OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin’s neighboring state are reminding drivers to wear seatbelts following a dramatic semi-truck crash on Interstate 94.

The crash happened Wednesday morning near the County Road 10 overpass in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. Two semi-trucks collided, and one of the vehicles went off the roadway, down an embankment, and landed on the county road below.

Officials say that thanks to seatbelts, all those involved survived and avoided more serious injuries.

“Buckle up every trip, every time, no matter your vehicle,” said the Minnesota State Patrol in a social media post.
