Riley Green has released a new single, “Think as You Drunk,” with a direct tribute to Toby Keith woven into the song’s final moments.
Green said Keith was a major influence on his own writing, especially in the way Keith mixed humor, honesty, and everyday storytelling in country music. The new track includes Keith’s vocals from his 2005 hit “As Good as I Once Was” during the outro, creating a clear nod to one of the late singer’s signature songs.
The tribute was made with support from Keith’s family and manager. A portion of proceeds from “Think as You Drunk” will go to the Toby Keith Foundation, which supports children with cancer and their families.
The song is also set to appear on Green’s album That’s Just Me, listed for release on September 18. For Green, the single connects a new chapter in his own career with an artist who helped shape the sound and attitude of modern country music.
