The Latest from Storm Team 5…
After a warm May afternoon, a cold front is moving through the area bringing with it a chance for an isolated shower or storm through about 9pm this evening. No severe weather is expected but a storm may produce a quick downpour or gust of wind.
Once the rain exits, skies will be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the low to mid 40s.
Tomorrow looks mostly cloudy with areas of late day sunshine. Breezy north winds will limit our temperatures to the mid and upper 50s to low 60s.
Thursday will be the best weather day this work week by far. Mostly sunny skies with temperatures around seasonal normal in the mid 60s.
Rain showers move in late Thursday night into Friday morning. While this will be our best chance for rain on Friday, we still cant rule out a stray shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening. Highs will soar into the lower 70s. For concert time on Friday, temperatures will fall into the low 60s.
Saturday is shaping up to be a beautiful day under mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid 70s! The weather will turn a bit unsettled Sunday with rain and thunderstorms. The day we have to monitor for strong storm potential looks to be on Monday.
