(WFRV) – A former Appleton North standout who spoke to Local 5’s Breanna Reinhart earlier this week about his NFL Draft dreams just made it a reality.
With the No. 253 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens selected Northwestern Wildcats offensive lineman Evan Beerntsen.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pound guard was among the final picks of the draft.
He’s also the second northeast Wisconsin native to get drafted on Saturday.
