(WFRV) – The Packers made a big move on Friday night, literally and figuratively, as they traded picks No. 84 and 160 to the Buccaneers for No. 77, selecting defensive tackle Chris McClellan from Mizzou.
The 6-foot-4 defensive tackle played two years at Florida before transferring to Mizzou to play for the Tigers and Eliah Drinkwitz. In four years of SEC-level ball, the 323-pound tackle recorded 10.5 sacks and one forced fumble.

In 2025, the big man took a big leap, jumping from 2.5 sacks in his first season at Mizzou to six, also recording a pair of pass breakups. The 22-year-old recorded 133 tackles in four collegiate seasons as well, in which he played every single game he was eligible, starting 22 out of 51.
At the NFL Combine, McClellan ran a 5.05-second 40-yard-dash and a 1.8-second 10-yard split. His vertical jump measured at 29.5 inches with a 9-foot broad jump. On the bench press, he posted 25 reps of 225 pounds.
