SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in Sheboygan are asking for the public’s help in learning more about a shooting incident on Tuesday night after no victims were found.
According to a release from the Sheboygan Police Department, officers responded at 6:52 p.m. to the intersection of North 12th Street and Geele Avenue for reports of several gunshots being fired.

Officials say they were able to find evidence of the shots being fired, but add that there is no indication that any victims had been shot.
One man was briefly arrested but released after being found to have no involvement in the incident. Police are continuing to investigate all leads in an attempt to identify who may have been involved.
Anyone who may have witnessed the gunshots, has damage to their property consistent with gunfire, or knows more about the incident is asked to contact the Sheboygan Police Department.
