………………..
Strong to severe storms expected Monday evening
The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Showers and storms will start to develop along a warm front after 5-6pm this evening and with a very unstable atmosphere in place, storms have a very high chance to be strong to severe. The window will be 6pm to around 1am. Main threats will be large hail, damaging winds and heavy rain. There is a chance for a tornado or two especially for central WI.
A TORNADO WATCH is now in effect for: Calumet, Fond Du Lac, Green Lake, Marquette, Outagamie, Sheboygan, Waupaca and Waushara counties until 10pm this evening. Have a way to recieve weather information no matter where you may be this evening and make sure to know your severe weather plan.

Heavy rain is going to be a big factor in the forecast this evening. Our ground is very saturated from rounds of precipitation recently and snow melt in Upper Michigan. Rain amounts will range from 0.5-1.5″ across the area, but if rounds of storms train over an area, over 2″ of rain is possible in some locations resulting in urban flooding and more river rising.
A FLOOD WATCH is in effect for all of the area from 4pm this afternoon until 7am Tuesday.

Rain will exit around 3am then we will see fog form behind this system that could be dense in a few areas. Lows will be in the upper 40s to low 50s.
Tomorrow looks mostly cloudy and warm with highs in the upper 60s and 70s. Another round of showers and storms looks likely in the evening hours primarily south of Green Bay. Once again, these storms could be strong to severe. Main impacts will be hail, wind an downpours. We can not rule out a tornado occuring in our southern counties.
Wednesday will be cloudy and cooler with highs around 60 degrees. Rain and a few reumbles of thunder will move in later in the day, overnight and last into Thursday morning. This activity will not be severe.
We finally catch a dry spell Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon. Another round of rain moves in Friday night into Saturday.
