NEW LONDON, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in New London have confirmed that the missing three-year-old boy found Monday in the Wolf River is dead.
According to a release from the New London Police Department, the three-year-old has gone missing from his home on the 1000 block of West Beacon Avenue and had last been seen around midnight in the area of the New London Middle School.

Officers received the missing persons report for the boy at 4:58 a.m. on Monday and found him in the Wolf River at 7:17 a.m.
The three-year-old was initially taken to the ThedaCare-New London facility where he was later pronounced dead.
