GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Multiple people are now in custody after a joint operation involving the FBI carried out several recent search warrants throughout Green Bay on Wednesday, Authorities say.
According to a release from the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, 10 search warrants were executed on April 8 across Green Bay, as part of an ongoing joint investigation between the Sheriff’s Office and the FBI into suspected drug trafficking.
Three SWAT teams were deployed at multiple locations in Green Bay to safely carry out the mentioned search warrants, which resulted in multiple arrests for various drug-related offenses, weapons violations, outstanding warrants, and suspected violations of Wisconsin Department of Corrections – Division of Community Corrections rules (Probation and Parole Holds).

Several agencies in the area played a hand in the joint operation including the Ashwaubenon Department of Public Safety, Brown County Sheriff’s Office, De Pere Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Green Bay Police Department, Green Bay Metro Transit Department, Hobart-Lawrence Police Department, Manitowoc Metro Drug Unit, Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Wisconsin Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation (Joint Tactical Team).
All SWAT operations are said to have officially concluded, however, the investigation remains active, and several additional arrests are expected to be made.
Officials say the Brown County Drug Task Force and the FBI will be referring charges against multiple people related to the investigation to both the United States Attorney’s Office – Eastern District of Wisconsin and the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.
