(WFRV) – After 14 seasons with the UW-Oshkosh men’s basketball program, head coach Matt Lewis is stepping down to pursue a family endeavor.
Lewis began his tenure as an assistant before taking over the program eight seasons ago. During his run, he guided the Titans to their first national championship in 2019 and posted a 141-62 record, earning conference Coach of the Year honors three times.
Lewis joined Local 5 Sports’ Kyle Malzhan on Sports Xtra to discuss his decision and reflect on a remarkable run leading UW-Oshkosh.
