BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – A 56-year-old man from Ashwaubenon was pronounced dead following a rollover crash on I-43 Thursday morning due to slippery conditions.
According to a release from the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, first responders were called to a single-vehicle rollover crash around 6:30 a.m. on I-43 near County Highway NN on April 2.
Based on a preliminary investigation, a Jeep Wrangler driven by a 56-year-old man from Ashwaubenon was northbound on I-43 when he lost control on the slippery roads and was ejected from the vehicle.

The man reportedly suffered critical injuries, and despite life-saving efforts at the scene, he was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital.
“At this time, roadway conditions and lack of seatbelt use appear to be factors in the severity of the crash,” the Brown County Sheriff’s Office’s release states.
The crash remains under investigation.
