VOLO, Ill. (WFRV) – Officials in northern Illinois say a missing 18-year-old may be around the Wisconsin/Minnesota border after he was last seen leaving for school on Monday.
According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Thomas Thompson of Volo was reported missing late Monday night after he left for school.

Thomas is believed to be in a white Toyota Camry with an Illinois license plate number, ES48065.
According to the release, Flock license plate reader technology detected the vehicle on Monday afternoon near the Minnesota and Wisconsin border, as officials coordinate efforts with local authorities.
