MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Wisconsin authorities say an investigation is underway after a teen was attacked by a group of juveniles while getting off a bus late Wednesday night.
According to the Madison Police Department, officers responded around 11:50 p.m. to the area of East Washington Avenue at Baldwin Street for reports of a teen having been attacked.

The teen told police that a group of juveniles had attacked him as he got off the bus in the downtown area of the city. He added that the group had searched through his pockets during the attack.
Officers report that another teen had tried to intervene in the incident, with the group then beginning to punch and attack him.
Digital evidence is currently being collected, and the group of juveniles had fled from the scene before the arrival of police.
No other information is available at this time, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
