(WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin are asking for the public’s help after nearly 40 tires were illegally dumped along a rural roadway.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the tires were discarded on West Neda Road in Dodge County sometime between March 12 and the early morning hours of March 13.
Deputies are looking for anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area during that timeframe.
Illegal dumping in Wisconsin is defined as the unauthorized disposal of waste — including tires, construction debris, furniture or hazardous materials — on public or private property rather than at approved landfills or recycling centers. Common violations include dumping along roadsides, in ditches or in unauthorized dumpsters.
