APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – A 64-year-old woman reported as missing from Appleton on Thursday evening has been found dead, according to an update.
The Appleton Police Department says that Maureen Van Elzen was found dead, and that any further information should be provided by calling (920) 832-5500.

Maureen had last been seen on March 2, leaving her home around 10 a.m. in a dark purple 2009 Toyota Scion with Wisconsin License Plate No. AVA6137.
“The Appleton Police Department thanks the public for their attention and assistance, and we extend our deepest sympathies to her family,” the release said. “No further information will be released at this time.”
