PESHTIGO, Wis. (WFRV) – A suspect who remains unidentified has been arrested following an investigation into allegations of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), often referred to as child pornography.
According to the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation started in January based on a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The suspect was arrested via a February 25 search warrant in Peshtigo, as the Sheriff’s Office referred 23 counts of child pornography possession to the District Attorney.
The suspect has not been charged.
