(WRFV) — Several D1 boys and girls high school sectional semi-finals were happening around our area on Tuesday night.
On the boys’ side, 1-seeded Neenah/Hortonville/Menasha (Neenah Co-op) took down 4-seeded Fox Cities (Xavier Co-op) 5-3, and on the other side of the bracket, 2-seeded De Pere ended 6-seeded Bay Area’s cinderella run at a sectional championship winning 4-1.
De Pere will play at NHM on Friday at the Cornerstone Community Center at 7:00 p.m., with the winner moving on to State.
On the girls’ side, 1-seeded Bay Area defeated 5-seeded Fox Cities 9-1, and will host the Lakeshore Lightning at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena for a chance to go to State.
