A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department, in a statement obtained by People, said they had responded to a call about a possible suicide.
Katherine Short was a licensed clinical social worker, as reported by Forbes, and was Martin Short’s daughter with his late wife, actress Nancy Dolman. Short and Dolman married in 1980 and remained so until her death from ovarian cancer in August 2010.
Katherine Short is survived by her father, in addition to brothers Oliver and Henry.
