EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WFRV) – A driver was arrested for OWI in western Wisconsin after they tested at more than three times the legal limit and allegedly danced during their Standardized Field Sobriety Testing.
A release from the Eau Claire Police Department states that on January 15, officers got word of a truck driving the wrong-way.
Shortly after, officers say the truck hit several ‘objects’ before stopping in a snowbank near a driveway.

Officers boxed in the truck, which was still in gear, and found the driver allegedly intoxicated.
During Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, the driver reportedly couldn’t follow instructions and “sometimes broke out dancing instead.” It was noted that the driver blew a preliminary breath test of .263, which is more than three times the legal limit.
The driver was arrested for OWI – first offense, and was issued multiple citations.
