GROVER, Wis. (WFRV) – A fire caused moderate damage to a building early Thursday morning in the Town of Grover.
According to the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were notified shortly after 12:30 a.m. of a structure fire in the N2000 block of Vernon Hills Drive. All occupants were able to safely exit the building without injury before first responders arrived.

Authorities said flames were visible at the rear of the building. Firefighters were able to quickly suppress the fire, though it caused moderate damage to the structure.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
