WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis. (WFRV) – Brown County officials say one person is dead following a fiery single-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Wrightstown.
According to a release from the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 10:45 p.m. to the area of County Highway PP to the south of School Road for reports of a vehicle overturned and on fire.

Authorities say a pickup truck was heading south on County Highway PP when the driver lost control, left the roadway, and caught on fire after rolling over into a field.
The driver did not survive his injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim is being withheld at this time pending the notification of family.
No other information is available at this time and an investigation into the incident is ongoing by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
