FOX CITIES (WFRV) – United Way Fox Cities hosted its annual Day of Caring on Wednesday, with volunteers and attendees across the area stepping up for local organizations with service projects.
The day is built around giving back to the community, with numerous organizations hosting individuals for projects to help out those in need.
Volunteer Center of Brown County hosts nearly 50 nonprofits at 8th Annual Volunteer Expo
Whether it was volunteers at St. Joseph’s Food Program in Menasha or a deep-cleaning at the Pillars Adult Shelter in Appleton, participants were out and about for much of the morning into the afternoon.
It was the first United Way Fox Cities Day of Caring event in 20 years, with volunteers at six different Fox Valley area nonprofits.
