HOLLAND, Wis. (WFRV) – The resident of a Sheboygan County home was injured after a possible firework was discharged in his basement.
Deputies with the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office say they were called to a home on South Pine Beach Road in the Town of Holland around 11:35 a.m. on Saturday, July 5.
The 911 call was reportedly in reference to a ‘possible’ firework that was ‘discharged’ in the basement of the home.

When authorities arrived, black smoke and flames were seen coming from the basement.
The only resident of the home suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause is currently under investigation.
