The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
The HEAT ADVISORY from the last two days continues on Monday until 7pm as the heat index is set to surge up between 95 and 102 degrees! A reminder that it’s a good idea to drink plenty of water and fluids, to take breaks in the air conditioning, and to check on elderly relatives and neighbors who may be struggling to stay cool.
At the end of the day, scattered thunderstorms are likely to form along a cold front in the late afternoon and evening. Our team will be watching a chance for severe weather in a window between 3pm and 9pm, while most of the action will be somewhere in the middle of that time. The main risks are damaging winds on the leading edge of thunderstorms and hail up to 1″ in diameter. The tornado risk is low, but non-zero.
