(WFRV) – On Wednesday evening, the Kaukauna softball and baseball programs secured playoff wins.
The #2 softball team defeated #3 Ashwaubenon 3-0 to continue its perfect season (24-0). Virginia commit Karly Meredith pitched a complete game with 11 strikeouts. The Galloping Ghosts will take on #1 Green Bay Preble (27-0) in the division one sectional final on Thursday, June 5 at 4:30 p.m. A trip to the state tournament is on the line.
The #9 Kaukauna baseball program took down #8 West De Pere 4-1 in the regional final.
