MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV) – Appleton native, veteran, and four-time Super Bowl champion Rocky Bleier returned to northeast Wisconsin on Wednesday to support local veterans.
Bleier made an appearance at the Stone Toad in Menasha, signing autographs in exchange for donations to the Wisconsin Veterans Village. The event also featured signed memorabilia up for auction and a tasting of Rocky’s Purple Heart Bourbon.
“It’s really a great tribute to them, their memories, and helps the veterans that are here—especially with the money that’s raised for Veterans Village,” Bleier said.
The fourth annual Rocky Bleier Golf Classic is scheduled to begin Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Royal St. Patrick’s Golf Links in Wrightstown.
