Allegiant Travel Company adds new route through Appleton International Airport, celebrates with low one-way fare

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – Allegiant Travel Company announced on Wednesday several new routes to cities nationwide, including one from Appleton International Airport (ATW).

The new route out of ATW will begin on October 2, 2025, with a straight route to Gulf Shores, Alabama, through the Gulf Shores International Airport. However, that’s not the only piece of information Allegiant revealed.

To celebrate the new routes, the company will offer one-way fares on each route varying in price. The Gulf Shores flight out of Appleton will see one-way fares as low as about $59.

These one-way fare prices are limited in availability, and not all flights will have the same prices. Flights must be booked by May 21, 2025 for traveling by February 9, 2026. The prices do not include all potential baggage charges and details may change.

ATW Director Abe Weber expressed his gratitude, citing Allegiant’s investment in the airport.

“Thanks to Allegiant’s investment at ATW, we are able to offer convenient and popular nonstop routes to travelers in Northeast Wisconsin,” Weber said via a release.

In addition, Outagamie County Executive Thomas Nelson highlighted the importance of adding new flight routes.
