OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – A 59-year-old Oshkosh man was sentenced on Wednesday to 15 years in prison for an armed robbery at an Oshkosh Kwik Trip in mid-October 2025.
According to Brad D. Schimel, the First Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the armed robbery occurred just after midnight on October 13, 2025, when Lorenzo Wood walked into the Kwik Trip off Highway 41 on Jackson Street with a revolver.

Wood held the clerk at gunpoint and demanded cash from the register, and left in a silver SUV after the clerk handed him $170. Officials quickly found Wood by identifying his vehicle and distinct walking pattern via surveillance footage.
Officers recovered the revolver from his home, and at sentencing, U.S. District Judge Byron B. Conway cited the harsh impact on the victim and Wood’s history of prison sentences for convenience store robberies.
