DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – A local coffee shop in De Pere has launched a new community composting program promoting green initiatives throughout the area.
Luna Coffee invites residents to grab a compost bucket filled with compost material in an attempt to keep those items out of landfills and promote composting and green gardens all throughout the community.
We put them behind our building in the alleyway. Anyone can come and collect as many buckets as they want, all we ask is that you wash them and bring them back at some point.
Mark Patel, Luna Coffee Co-Founder
The new community composting program comes as Luna Coffee originally was working with local farmers, but needed to make it available to the community as business got busier.

Anyone interested can find the compost buckets behind Luna Coffee by entering the alleyway at Fourth and Main Avenue in De Pere.
