The Latest from Storm Team 5…
It was nice to see the sunshine again after a cloudy start to our day. Temperatures did get up to around seasonal average, but it was quite windy out there.
Clouds will fill back in tonight, but we should be dry. Temperatures will fall into the low and mid 40s, with some upper 30s across the Northwoods.
Wednesday will begin a run of days with below normal temperatures here in northeast Wisconsin. Highs will only manage the upper 40s to low 50s under mostly cloudy skies. It wont be raining all day, but there is a chance for some hit or miss rain showers at times from the morning through the early evening.
Frost will be a concern this week for anyone who planted early. Lows will be in the 30s for many nights this week, especially Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings.
Rinse and repeat forecst for Thursday once again as there is a chance for a few passing rain showers but it will be much cooler with highs in the mid to upper 40s.
Friday will be dry under a mix of sunhsine and clouds. Highs will top out in the upper 40s to low 50s.
Warmer, more seasonal air moves in for the weekend with temperatures back in the 50s and 60s. Rain showers are expected as we open up the new work week.
