DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – Anyone who ever wanted to participate in building model railroads could have their chance this weekend as the De Pere library will be hosting the Green Bay Area Model Railroad Club’s Open House.
Green Bay’s “We the People” quilt celebrates US history, future
Local Five was able to get a preview of the open house, which will be the perfect time for anyone interested to get involved and learn what needs to become a member of the club.
They get to come in and see all of the detail in the layout, all the hard work that went into the layout. They get to experience what it is to run trains. They have members here that’ll let the kids press the button for ringing the bell, blowing the whistles, and blowing the horns.

The Open House will be held at the De Pere library from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2.
