DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) — Former West De Pere long snapper Brett Welsing has officially accepted an invite to the Packers rookie mini-camp.
The former Drake standout is one of two long snappers headed to the Packers mini-camp, the other being 23-year-old Spencer Triplett (North Carolina).
Welsing was a three-time All-PFL selection at Drake University, helping solidify one of the best special teams units in the FCS.
