GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – In a follow-up to the Green Bay Converting fire that devastated a facility during a historic blizzard in March, officials say that jobs will be impacted.

According to a letter to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD), there will be 32 employees laid off on April 25, 2026.
“Despite the Company’s best efforts and plans to retool and rebuild, the Company has made the difficult decision to lay off a group of 32 employees who were formerly assigned to our facilities in Green Bay,” the letter said.

The layoffs impact the following positions, with totals included.
- Assistant Operator—15
- Material Handler—1
- Crew—5
- Maintenance—5
- Operator—4
- Quality—1
- Supervisor—1
The layoffs, according to the letter, are less than 25% of the total Green Bay workforce of over 180.
