GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Court Appointed Special Advocates of Brown County (CASA) is designed to help children under court protection while providing them with lifelong skills.
CASA of Brown County’s Executive Director, Michelle Pierquet Hohner, Program Director Nicole Rank and Board President John Bushmaker all stopped by Local 5’s Off the Desk with Stacy Engebretson to discuss the recognition of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Winners of Eastern Wisconsin Excellence in Education Awards Program announced
The discussion centered on the importance of Child Abuse Prevention Month, highlighting the different ways CASA of Brown County works to end child abuse, as well as the upcoming 2026 Classic For Kids, which is on Monday, August 24.
The event tees off from Oneida Golf and Country Club, featuring countless activities, from the 18-hole game to raffles, lunch and a silent auction, with proceeds going to CASA of Brown County.
