CRIVITZ, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in northern Wisconsin provided information regarding a deadly crash that happened over a week ago.
According to the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, on April 8 around 1:40 a.m. on April 8 a report of a one-vehicle crash on Louisa Street was reported. It was mentioned the vehicle crashed into a building.
Authorities say an investigation showed a vehicle driven by a 66-year-old man from Sheboygan was driving on Main Avenue and failed to turn at Louisa Street and crashed into two buildings.
Water damage forces elementary school in Wisconsin to close for ‘foreseeable future’
The man was identified as Terry Garbisch. On April 18, Garbisch died as a result of his injuries.
The release says speed, alcohol, and failure to wear a seatbelt were factors in the crash.
