SHIOCTON, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials with the Navarino Nature Center say they are holding a special event to celebrate the nature center’s 40th anniversary.
The Packers’ 2026 ‘Tailgate Tour’ hits the road
The event in Shiocton will feature historical displays and presentations, activities for children, cake, and a nationally known monarch butterfly speaker giving a presentation on the butterflies.
I mean it was just 8 or 10 people on the board, and then we grew in membership. A couple years later, we built a cabin, small nature center, operated out of that for 10 years and then increased up to the current nature center and the renewable energy building 10 years after that.

The event is scheduled to run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 18.
