From Storm Team 5….
A second night in a row of torrential downpours and thunderstorms has resulted in significant flooding throughout northeast Wisconsin. As much as 5-8″ of rain has saturated the soil and filled the creeks, rivers, and streams so much so that we have widespread flooding on going in NE WI.
A flood watch is in effect for much of central and east-central Wisconsin into early Wednesday morning.
Wednesday will start with areas of dense fog and mostly cloudy skies. The next round of showers and few t-storms will clip the hwy 23 corridor Fond du Lac over to Sheboygan counties Wednesday evening.
More showers and t-storms are expected Friday evening.
Finally, a drier stretch of days will arrive Saturday and into next week.
