(WFRV) – Severe training thunderstorms caused a multitude of issues across northeast Wisconsin, especially from Green Bay into the Fox Valley and west to Shawano and Waupaca counties.
A few communities reported 1+ inch hail, with heavy rain producing thunderstorms that have led to impactful flooding across parts of northeast Wisconsin.
Authorities across northeast Wisconsin share one common message amid ongoing flooding
Flood warnings were issued for many area rivers and streams due to rising water, resulting in flooding. Multiple roadways were reported to be covered in water, making travel nearly impossible.
On Monday morning, the National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Warning for the Little Wolf River in Waupaca County, as the operator of the Big Falls Dam reported the dam was in imminent danger of failing.
